📜 Join  Our Writer’s Guild 

Our Writer's Guild is an online hub for fiction writers, readers and editors to connect. Writers can share their work for others to review, readers can discuss books and editors can network. It would be a pleasure to have you in the guild!

📱 If you’re on Mobile (iPhone or Android) 

  1. Tap the invite link. 

  2. If you don’t yet have Discord, the app store will open. 

  3. Install Discord, then tap the invite link again. 

  4. Create a free account (or log in if you already have one). 

  5. When you see “Join Our Writer’s Guild | by No Extra Source?” → tap Join. 

  6. The server opens automatically. Tap the 🗂 menu icon (three lines ☰ top‑left) to see the channel list. 

  7. Tap 📜 WELCOME HALL › #start‑here. 

 

💻 If you’re on Windows PC (Discord app or browser) 

  1. Click the invite link. 

  2. If prompted, choose Open Discord (in app) or Continue to Discord (in browser). 

  3. Sign in or create a free account. 

  4. The server icon for No Extra Source appears on the left side of your Discord window. Click it. 

  5. In the channel list, locate 📜 WELCOME HALL at the top. 

  6. Underneath it, click #start‑here. 

 

🍏 If you’re on Mac (Discord app or browser) 

  1. Click the invite link → Accept Invite. 

  2. If you don’t have Discord installed, it will open in a browser or offer a quick download. 

  3. Sign in to your account. 

  4. On the left sidebar, you’ll now see the No Extra Source logo or initials. Click that icon. 

  5. The channel panel appears. Open 📜 WELCOME HALL › #start‑here. 

 
🧭 Tips for First Timers 

  • Channels are like rooms — they start with #. 

  • Click a channel name to read or chat there. 

  • Pinned messages (📌 icon top‑right) stay at the top if chats move quickly.
