I'm Jack - the creator of The Zashin Legacy, and No Extra Source. I've combined my passions to work on something that I am super proud of, and excited to share with you all.
No Extra Source is a publishing website designed to give people opportunities that are otherwise impossible to get.
The Zashin Legacy is an ongoing story inspired by my love of combat sports and fiction, available on this website, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, via PDF, E-PUB for Kindle and Spotify audiobook.

Inspiration for The Zashin Legacy
I used to say I wanted to be an author before I could tie my own shoelaces.
After spending five weeks in Thailand learning Muay Thai, followed by three weeks in Japan soaking up the culture, I found the inspiration to finally write my own story.
That's not all--I love consuming fiction, whether it's movies, books or anime. I am beyond inspired by the genius in some of these pieces.

Watching or reading is one thing: living it is another.
Having started boxing seven years ago, fighting has been a big part of my life and has played a big part in shaping my character.
In summer 2025, I travelled to Thailand for five weeks. I stayed at a Muay Thai camp for nine days before travelling the country, training at as many different gyms as I could. It was indescribably immense, and I instantly fell in love with the sport..
I then traversed Japan alone, finding inspiration in every spot of nature or architectural beauty.

The fights that go down in this story are are calculated descriptions of real techniques. The setting is largely inspired by my time in Japan. And finally, each and every character has a piece of me in.
